Where can I get my Fly Washington Passport S50 stamp?
The Auburn Airport stamp can be found in the blue-and-green Airport Information kiosk located on the runway side of the Airport Office building. Sign the guest book while you’re there. We’d love to know you were here!
Can I get a gate card?
A gate card can be issued at the time of hangar or tie-down rental. Additional cards may be purchased for $25.00.
How long is your wait list for hangars?
Expectations for an open hangar should be set somewhere between 12 and 18 months. Closed hangar space may take up to 15 years given current infrastructure constraints.
What if I’m not ready to take the space when you contact me?
Prospective tenants may refuse an offer for a hangar once and remain on the list. They do forfeit their position and move to the bottom of the list, but do not have to pay the $50.00 fee to reapply. After the second refusal, prospective tenants need to sign a new agreement to remain on the list.

How long is the lease I would sign?
Month-to-month. We do ask for 30 days’ written notice (email is fine) when you vacate your space.
I need to buy AVGAS but not for an aircraft, can I do that and if so, how?
Yes, we do sell AVGAS to the general public. Call to schedule an appointment to have an airport representative meet you to let you through the gate.
Where can I get Jet A?
Cascade Helicopters has a mobile fueling truck on the field available M-F 7am-4pm. Please coordinate your service needs through them at: 206-767-5290 or https://www.cascadeheliservices.com/
How do I get through the gates?
In order to enhance both safety and security on the Airport, the Airport Office restricts driving and walk-on access to the Airport. If you are a new tenant, drop by the Airport Office to fill out a gate card/vehicle access remote application for access through the vehicle gates. For other access inquiries, please reach out to Airport Staff directly in person or through phone/email.
Can you get me a rental car?
Hertz and Enterprise rental cars are very close to the field (3 to 5 minute walk for either company). Spanaflight Aviation does offer a courtesy car during their business hours, 8am-4pm M-F. Call 253-833-9357 to reserve the car.
Can I use the conference room?
If the conference room isn’t scheduled for the time you’d like to use it, you are welcome to use it on a first-come/ first-served basis. We do ask that you be respectful of others, especially when determining need and time of use. Contact Airport Office staff if you’re interested in reserving the conference room for an aviation-related event.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
Yes, you can use our Wi-Fi by choosing Access Auburn from your wi-fi choices and following the prompts to accept the terms of service. Service extends out to the transient ramp.
I need to use the dumpsters. What’s the code?
Condo tenants should contact their association managers for help with their specific trash. City tenants are allowed usage of the dumpsters found behind the Airport’s Office building inside the perimeter fence (airport produced trash only). Reach out to Airport Staff for the dumpster code.
Can I park my car there while I fly?
You are welcome to park your car in your space, hangar or outside your hangar as long as you are not blocking others’ access to their hangars or planes. You may also park in the airport office parking lot in the diagonal spaces east of the office at your own risk. Long duration trailer parking, RV, or other non-aeronautical parking is prohibited on Airport property, unless approved by the Airport Manager.
What’s your fee for transient parking?
Transient parking is $5/night for up to 14 nights. Five nights worth of parking fees will be waived with a confirmed gas purchase at Auburn Airport.
Where are your restrooms located?
The Airport’s office building has two restrooms located at the end of the hall in the Airport Office building. The north end of the Airport has two additional, heated restrooms located on the eastern end of Hangar Row “Y.” The code for entry is also the CTAF.
Can I pay with cash?
The Airport does not accept cash at this time. We accept checks and credit card transactions (with a 3% processing fee) as payment methods.
Do you do Flight Training?

Does Auburn Airport offer passenger flights?
Auburn Airport does not currently have scheduled passenger air service, nor does the Airport have any immediate plans to develop any passenger facilities as of this moment. Charter flights and corporate operations are somewhat common on the field and are allowed.

What kind of security does the Airport have?
Access to the Airport is restricted to pilots and other relevant aeronautical users as deemed necessary by Airport Staff. The Airport is surrounded by a 6 foot, three-strand barbed wire fence. Unauthorized access, trespassing on Airport property, and tampering with an aircraft are all considered Federal Offenses as stated in 18 U.S. Code § 32. If necessary, the Department of Homeland Security will also be involved in the investigation and prosecution of trespassers on Airport property.
Airport Staff conduct daily security inspections Airport-wide for intruders/signs of entry that is further supplemented by a nighttime/early morning inspection by a third-party security company. All vehicle gates and pedestrian gates are controlled by the City of Auburn to maintain safe and efficient Airport Operations.
What do I need to know about driving on Airport property?
As mentioned above, you will need to obtain a Vehicle Gate Card and or a clicker remote if you wish to drive on the Airport. When driving on the airport please: Give way to any and all aircraft, drive no faster than 10 MPH, leave your vehicle’s flashers on, and be aware of fast-taxiing aircraft no matter where you are driving inside of the perimeter fence.
